Welcome to the Forest Reents Foundation.
Thank you for joining us in Providing a Smile Today and a Cure Tomorrow, in honor of Forest Reents who passed away at the age of nine following an incredibly full life and a five-year battle with leukemia.
Forest’s rich, animated life, tenacious spirit and unwavering determination continue to be the inspiration and driving force behind our mission, which is to create and support programs that enhance the lives of children with cancer.
From something as simple as providing a family with dinner out and a movie to arranging safe, isolated access to toy stores and other interactive venues, our goal is to help kids be kids.
Forest’s story is testimony to the fact that children and their loved ones can have fun experiences and create wonderful memories even as they struggle through an illness. Read Forest’s Journal to discover, firsthand, how these experiences impact both patients and families.
Our wish is to provide other families with the same opportunities Forest was able to enjoy, while contributing to medical research, in the hopes that someday, no child will have to confront this battle.
Smiles Today are achieved through programs like Forest’s Fun Night, Forest’s Fun Gifts and Forest’s Normal Life. A Cure Tomorrow is supported by Forest’s Fund, which sponsors research in pediatric oncology.
These two initiatives are made possible through corporate partnerships and individual donations. If you would like to be involved as a donor or a sponsor, please contact us. To learn more about Forest’s programs, please visit our Initiatives section.
The Foundation has tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
